Datapharm is a not for profit company whose mission is to improve public health and safety by providing medicines information that is up-to-date, accurate and comprehensive for the public, patients, doctors and other relevant professionals.

Our folio now includes printed and electronic medicines information products such as the Medicines Compendium book, the electronic Medicines Compendium (eMC), the X-PIL service (providing patient leaflets in formats suitable for the visually impaired), Medicine Guides and components of the Dictionary of Medicines + Devices (dm+d).

At the heart of our operation is the www.medicines.org.uk medicines portal, which is our mechanism for delivering our products and services to those seeking medicines information. Guided by the simple principles that information should have high quality content that is well presented, functional and easy to access for people of all abilities, we aim to be amongst the best at delivering medicines informatics in the UK.

Datapharm works closely with the National Health Service (NHS), the research-based pharmaceutical industry and with patients, healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders to fulfill our commitment to creating clear, meaningful and accessible medicines information.
